Pump does not deliver flow:
•Discharge or suction valves in close condition.
•Direction of rotation is wrong.
•Pump is not rotating.
•Shaft is broken.
•NPSH available is changed.
•Air lock in pump or suction strainer is choked.
Pump does not deliver require flow:
•Impeller wearing rings are worn out.
•Discharge/suction valve not fully open.
•Speed of pump is less than rated speed.
•Impeller are loose on shaft.
•NPSH available is changed.
•Air locks in pumps.
Pump does not develop required head:
•Pump speed is less than rated.
•Impeller is loose on shaft.
•Impeller outs side diameter less than required.
•Vane of impeller choked.
Pump is drawing more power at duty condition:
•Pump is delivering more flow than required.
•Pump is jammed in bearing/in wear ring.
